Graham Young was convicted of the murders of Robert Egle, Frederick Biggs, David Tilson and Jethro Batt.
He was first convicted of killing his step-mother who he poisoned over a long period with antimony and thallium and trying to poison his father, sister and a friend and was sent to Broadmoor in 1962 and later released in 1971.
When he was released he went to a government training centre where he attempted to poison a 34 year old.
Later he got a job as a general assistant at a photographic laboratory in Bovingdon Hertfordshire where he was the tea boy. People around him began to fall ill, an illness known as the Bovingdon Bug. Both Bob Egle the storeroom manager and Fred Biggs the distribution manager died.
Graham Young was arrested on 21 November 1971 and in June 1972 convicted of the murders of Bob Egle and Fred Biggs and the attempted murders of two other people.
He later died on 1 August 1990 in Parkhurst Prison of a heart attack aged 42.
